Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your children’s teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.
We are also here for you, the parents. We know how important (yet difficult) it is to take care of your children’s teeth at home. During your appointment, we will go over the care that you need to be providing at home and look for problems as well. If needed, we will work with your child’s pediatrician.
If you have any questions or would like your children to be seen, don’t hesitate to contact us today at (417) 263-3127.
Dr. Adam Bennett
Dr. Bennett grew up right down the road from Branson in Harrison, AR. He attended Harrison High School and was a captain for both the football team and soccer team. After high school, Dr. Bennett headed to the University of Arkansas on an Academic Scholarship. At the University of Arkansas, he majored in Biology and minored in Business Management. During his sophomore year he decided to take the Dental Admissions Test a year early, he scored in the top percentile of testers across the country and was admitted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry on scholarship during his Junior year.
Dr. Bennett accepted the challenge and left Fayetteville before completing his degree during his senior year (Fun fact: his mentor, Dr. JB Hays, an oral surgeon in Fayetteville who Dr. Bennett worked for and volunteered with in college, also was accepted to dental school before completing his college degree. This also made Dr. Bennett the youngest student doctor in his class).
At the University of Tennessee, Dr. Bennett explored various specialties before deciding on pediatric dentistry. Many people ask “Why pediatric dentistry?”, and the simple answer is that working with children has always come naturally, and this skill of helping children get through “scary appointments” comfortably was something he felt he was meant to do.
During dental school, Dr. Bennett was inducted into the IMHOTEP honor society, elected as the Honor Council President, and won the Student Leader Award at his graduation ceremony. Dr. Bennett was accepted into his residency of choice in Springfield, MO. He trained under the New York University Langone Hospitals advanced education in pediatric dentistry and worked under Dr. Popejoy at Jordan Valley Community Health Centers. Dr. Bennett regards Dr. Popejoy as one of the best pediatric dentists in the country and is thankful to have been apart of such a great program.
Dr. Bennett then worked for two years in Shreveport, LA where he worked alongside several experienced pediatric dentists to serve a population of well over one million people between 3 offices and a hospital. During this time Dr. Bennett gained an immense amount of experience. After having their first child, Dr. Bennett and his wife, Katie (who he met here in Branson as counselors in training at Kanakuk sports camps in 2010), wanted to be closer to family and pursue the dream they always had – to open their own practice and serve the population where Dr. Bennett is from. In Dr. Bennett’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing for trout on lake Taneycomo, swimming in the lakes, working out, and playing golf.
We appreciate everyone who has supported us in this journey! We are excited to be a part of such a wonderful community of friendly people and we are excited to be able to bring a new service to the area that will help keep the children of our community smiling more!
